The Dangermond Group teamed with KLM, a grant writing firm, to help the City of Montebello prepare a $2.8 million Resources Agency sponsored grant application, to fund construction of improvements to Los Angeles County's Rio Hondo River Biking/Hiking Trail along Rio Hondo Creek, and habitat improvements along the trail and in Whittier Narrows Basin. In preparation for the grant application, The Dangermond Group, in partnership with Bitterroot Restoration, developed conceptual plans for the trail and open space components.
